Live Electrics was established in 2007 by Philip Moyne with the objective to be the most professional and personable electricians covering the Bristol area. Although we are regulated for technical competence, there is no governing body that can accredit us for our helpful and communicative nature. We let our customers do that for us! We understand the uncertainty of inviting new tradesmen into your property and the concerns about being intimidated by baffling industry jargon & technical terms. That's why we make it our mission to explain the job as clearly as possible.

Of all the abbreviations likely to surface in a conversation about household electrics (most of which you'll find an explanation for in our Jargon Buster) NICEIC is possibly the most important. It stands for the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors. These initials are your guarantee of professional competence and excellence. It's not a trumped up ‘guild' that anyone can throw money at to become a member. NICEIC is the industry's independent voluntary body, set to regulate electrical installations.
