John B Birch started the company in 1968 carrying out electrical installations for commercial and industrial clients. David Birch joined the company in 1986 having completed an apprenticeship in electronic engineering for the Boots company at their Nottingham pharmaceutical and chemical site. David and John worked together carrying out electrical installations and designing and building control panels until John retired in 2009. David Birch the current MD of JBB Electrical now heads a team carrying out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance as well as control panel design and manufacture with software written both in house and by specialist companies controlled by JBB Electrical.
