PAT Testing is an essential aspect of your company's health & safety policy to ensure that your staff aren't harmed by faulty electrical equipment within your business premises. PAT Testing should be performed regularly to protect your employees and visitors to the workplace. PAT Testing should be carried out in accordance with the IET "Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition)". All our technicians are qualified to at least C&G 2377. Our dedicated support staff can schedule, organise and log all appointments.

It is the mission of North East based PASSfm to improve electrical safety in the workplace for all. We are committed to ensuring the highest levels of quality both within our core electrical testing fields but also with our staff training programs, at the same time offering the best possible value for money.

Whether its a one off service, or a maintained annual service schedule you are after, our in house account management team, which is located in the North East, can discuss your options further. PAT Testing is an essential aspect of your companys health & safety policy to ensure that your staff arent harmed by any electrical equipment within your business premises.

At PASSfm we aim to help owners and occupiers of commercial buildings, homebuilders & contractors to reduce their energy consumption. All business owners have one major concern in common, to save money and reduce their energy usage. All contractors and homebuilders want to make their properties easier to sell, again reducing the homes carbon footprint and energy wastage will allow for a better sale and potentially higher selling price. If an average home can save 300 per year by improving insulation, heating and so forth, then imagine how much an office can save with a few tips and procedures like turning off PC monitors on an evening.

If the lights were out in your office or building, would your staff, customers and clients be able to exit the building? The need for emergency lighting is as essential part of your buildings Fire Precautions as fire extinguishers. It is vital to maintain and service your emergency lighting to make sure it is doesn't fail at critical times. Where artificial lighting is in operation within the workplace some form of emergency lighting is mandatory and therefore needs to be serviced appropriately.

Every electrical installation deteriorates with use and time. Therefore, if the safety of the users is not to be compromised, it is important that every installation is periodically inspected and tested by a competent person. Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) formerly known as Periodic Inspection Report and also referred to as 'Fixed Wire Testing'. This is not to be confused with PAT Testing, which is the testing of portable appliances. At PASSfm we offer an unrivalled installation testing service throughout the North East & UK that can be carried out at the recommended intervals e.g. 3 or 5 yearly or annually by percentage testing.
