No job is too small. JD Electrics work within the property rental market. Testing and Remedial work for both private landlords and commercial letting agents. JD Electrics offer a speedy cost effective repairs service with the required certification.

Covering Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury, Wokingham and surrounding areas, we are happy to cover all enquiries from replacing light fittings, to replacing fuse boards, to complete rewires. We are here to help when you buy your new kitchen, not just the rewire of sockets and lights etc but also if you just buy a new cooker and need it connected. For full peace of mind or as a landlord requirement, we can conduct a full Periodic inspection now known as an Electrical Inspection Condition Report. This is an up to date status report of the condition of your wiring.

The EICR - Electrical testing - is an important thorough check of your fixed wiring in both domestic and commercial electrical installations. Please remember if you do not have the results of a previous test and/or wiring diagrams then a great deal of time is required to determine the detail of each circuit. The main reason for Fixed wiring testing is to ensure your electrical installation is safe and fit for purpose. Electrical testing is an essential task and can be difficult so it's necessary to let a professional do it.

Great communication. Prompt and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

John was on time. He did a thorough inspection of our consumer unit and electrics around the house. He sent the certificate by email on the same day. He was friendly and helpful.

We had been having problems with our energy supplier for a while, especially since having a smart meter installed, with extremely high electric. After phoning the energy company multiple times and being told vague/different things by each rep over the phone, one rep said that we had to pay for our own electrician to help us figure out why our bills are so high. I gave JD Electrics a call and John was really helpful and encouraged us to simply switch and make a complaint rather than spend our money on him visiting. He spoke to me for a good 10 minutes.

My partner and I afterwards sought advice regarding this energy supplier via Citizens' Advice, but we're still not satisfied with the outcome and will follow John's advice to contact Ombudsman.

Thank you for your help and advice -- we will definitely contact you in the future if we need any electric work!

I was very impressed by John’s professionalism and honesty, there was a straightforward no nonsense approach to the job,I was dealing with John remotely regardless I was kept up to speed with the requirements of the job and the progress, I have NO hesitation whatsoever in recommending JD ELECTRICS for a fair and professional service.

Excellent service. All work completed as per quote.
