A family business, we manufacture all types of hardwood & softwood gates, from our purpose built workshop in Earls Colne, near Colchester in Essex, using traditional construction techniques. We hold stocks of standard sizes & also offer a made to measure service along with manufacturing bespoke gate designs. As well as competitive prices we offer local delivery and excellent lead times. We manufacture and fit, all types of softwood and hardwood wooden gates in our workshops in Earls colne in Essex and deliver all over the UK. Gates range from basic closeboard side gates to fully framed, morticed and tenoned driveway gates. Price indications of standard sized gates are detailed below, however gates are also made to order to specific sizes. We also make bespoke gate designs. At Tarmec and Croft we manufacture and supply fencing materials to the trade and general public. We offer heavy Duty fence panels from stock as well as more specialist items such as made to measure trellis, sloping fence panels made to measure closeboard. We also offer a full fencing fitting service to local areas by our in-house team and we can supply made to measure gates to match your new fencing installation.

We manufacture our driveway gates in FSC Certified kiln dried softwood or Sapele hardwood. Prices of all driveway gates are per pair. When you add the gates to your basket, appropriate fittings will be suggested.
