NO is the short honest answer. Whilst Final Fencing installs to fencing standard BS 1722 Part7 or equivalent we never guarantee the length of time a fence will stand. Some fencing contractors will offer verbal guarantees, most don't. This is because as we have witnessed before the weather is an unpredictable force. We can offer additional options if your fence is on exposed ground. Please call for details. In Wales for example the fence posts used are often 5"x4"(125mmx100mm) rather the traditional 4"x4"(100mm) we use in the south of England.

In certain circumstances you may want a fence removed without the requirement for further fencing. Final Fencing can carefully remove any type of fencing and leave the site cleared. We can provide a fixed price quotation for this work.

If the stump is too large to be removed by hand then a specialist machine will cut the stump into small pieces of wood. Some small roots will inevitably be left in the ground but the majority should eventually rot down. We generally leave the sawdust on site as it serves as excellent mulch and fills the void of the roots of course. We can however remove this if required.
