In a market place that has previously been reliant on "solvent based adhesives" and in tandem there has been little emphasis in terms of recycling, we have seen dramatic changes within our industry and there is a significant emphasis on recycling and now water based adhesives are extensively used. As one of the country's leading flooring contractors, we pro-actively implement recycling via our Recofloor partner and we promote manufacturers who develop sustainable manufacturing methods and manufacturers who use products that are recyclable and sourced from sustainable origins.

As one of the largest independent flooring contractors within the UK, we hold direct accounts with all major manufacturers/suppliers and have the necessary credit lines in place to facilitate projects of any size. In addition, we are able to encompass under our umbrella all aspects of flooring, such as epoxy, screed, matting and hard flooring. Although our area of expertise is soft flooring, we have successfully undertaken a number of projects encompassing other elements of flooring within our package to offer a bespoke one-stop-shop solution for projects encapsulating a number of floor finishes.

John Abbott Flooring Contractors is a family owned company that has been trading since 1982 and we specialise only in the supply and fit of soft flooring. We are not part of any multi national group and are not a subsidiary and we pride ourselves on our well established pedigree which has involved us undertaking many prestigious projects - ranging from values of 1000 up to 2.8M. We directly employ local labour within our trading perimeters and our main catchment areas are the M62 corridor A1 corridor and the M6 corridor.
