The company was established in 1990, by myself Mike Glass, my career beginning with the Local Authority, with the arrival of the Dutch Elm Disease which devastated the native populations of elms that did not have a resistance to the disease. I then studied at Merrist Wood Arboricultural College gaining a national certificate in arboriculture (NCH ARB), Then spent the next 3 years overseas, gaining knowledge and experience in all aspects of Arboriculture and Forestry, returning to work for the National Trust in southern England, maintaining and caring for their main sites.
