Our team members come from within the local community and work hard to give something back. In conjunction with our occupational therapist we work closely with other organisations such as the Adult Learning and Skills Service. We have developed close links with local councils, businesses, schools and organisations helping us to provide a wide variety of work tasks and work experience placements. Our main work activities are garden maintenance, processing wood into logs to sell to customers for fire wood, crafting and horticultural activities at our 3 acre community gardens.
We provide fully equipped friendly teams of up to six members and a supervisor. Our service includes one-off jobs or regular maintenance for all those usual gardening tasks. We have a loyal customer base of local residents, businesses, land owners, local groups and councils. We cut and season a variety of hard and soft wood logs, such as ash and beech, selling them in handy bags or by half and full tipper truck load. We also sell bags of kindling to get your fire going. The team members make a variety of handmade crafts.
Thanks for your company tonight. Happy Christmas and new year everyone xxx
Last week we potted up some snowdrops and last month some dwarf narcissi. These are for sale at the gardens, 4 each for plastic pots, 5 each for small terracotta pots and 7 each for the large terracotta bowls, almost feels like spring!
Laurence doesn't like to eat pancakes so he made a fun soft one instead.
So, the Just Keep Busy packs are ready to be delivered! Arriving at our work team members doors, very soon.
