AJ Lawn Care now supply cricket clubs with top grade tarpaulin pitch covers made from super strong tightly woven polyethylene. Available in green or blue the cover measures 30 metre by 5 metres which is larger than a pitch to minimise water creeping underneath. Weighing in at around 30kg this is managable by one person which provides the groundsman with good flexibility should the weather change. Clubs with large mobile covers can have these covers in addition for ease of use and speed, mainly for those occasions during pitch preparation when the groundsman is on his own, or for second or third pitches, even on match days for unpredictable quick showers during games.
