Work continues at pace in our Clay Cross factory, we are busy processing orders for both wok cookers and ventilation systems stretching out into next year! Here's a standard size CEFT32R wok cooker. CAD blocks (DXF AutoCAD 2010) for our CEFT wok range have been updated and now include front and side elevations as well as plan view. These updated drawings have been integrated into our. Whilst clearing out an office cupboard we found this gem from 1989! Sometimes we forget just how long Far East has been trading (since 1983!), and also the hair cuts sported by directors.
Fergus Liu and Tommy Cheung came from Hong Kong in the 1970s and opened some of the UK's first Chinese restaurants. They established Far East Kitchen Solutions in 1983, initially selling catering equipment to the Chinese takeaway and restaurant industry. Far East was one of the first manufacturers of gas wok cooking ranges, high power appliances that ensure your Chinese meal isn't soggy! This was followed by the dim sum steamer and other oriental catering equipment. Throughout the 1980s, Far East gained experience in commercial kitchen design, planning permission and kitchen vent/extract systems.
All gas parts must be installed by a Gas Safe Registered engineer in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998. Please contact us for a quote to fit this part. Please ensure the pilot ordered will fit the wok cooker, they are not interchangeable. For assistance please send photographs of your Far East cooker (we are unable to advise suitability for cookers manufactured by others, purchases are at your own risk).
