I worked as a labourer for many years. After the arrival of our first child, I realised there was more to life than working twelve hour shifts, seven days a week! I embarked on a training course and worked with an established heating engineer to gain experience. In 2014 I became Gas Safe registered and set up my own business. Although it was a lot of hard work and a little bit scary, it was the best decision I've ever made. I love being my own boss and enjoy the variety of the work. I meet a lot of lovely people and benefit from spending more time with my family.
