Nigel Stoves Plumbing & Heating was established in 1984 by Nigel who after 10 years working as a heating engineer decided to start his own business. The business has grown and over the last 10 years Nigel has been joined by his sons Kristopher and Mathew who are both extensively trained and qualified in both domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems. We are all City & Guilds qualified and members of Gas Safe (previously Corgi), APTC (Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors), CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineers), OFTEC (Oil Fired Technical Association), and WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme), company registration number 8004382.

In addition to installing the most advanced Central Heating Boilers and Central Heating Systems, we also supply and install the most up to date Heating Controls. Heating Controls are used to keep your home at a comfortable temperature and running your boiler efficiently will also reduce your fuel bills.

We are experienced in solving any boiler repair problem. This local firm of boiler engineers are fully qualified and have a wealth of boiler repair and fault finding experience. We are able to tackle all types of boiler repairs on many different systems including Viessmann, Baxi, Potterton and Worcester to name just a few. It is a common attitude that it seems pointless to service or repair anything in our throw-away culture as some things appear cheaper to replace than repair. This does not apply to our gas/oil boilers.

We are family run business, experienced and highly competent in boiler installation. We offer a clean efficient service as well as having an in depth knowledge of all household heating systems. All our engineers are time served for a minimum of 4 years (boiler installation and associated equipment). Our installation service includes Gas, Oil, and Solid Fuel boilers. We install every boiler to the highest possible standard and because every home is different and personal requirements differ we offer a bespoke design and installation service, ensuring every home has the most efficient heating and hot water system.

Over time sludge and iron oxide can build up and effect the running and efficiency of you heating system, often leading to cold spots on radiators and blocked heat exchangers and valves.
