Misting/condensation in double glazed sealed units is caused by the seal between the glass and spacer bar 'breaking down' thus allowing moist air from the atmosphere into the cavity. This moist air then settles on the glass and cannot be cleaned off. This misting or condensation will appear on any double glazed sealed unit over time, whether it be in uPVC, aluminium or wood. We will replace double glazed sealed units in all window types including Velux providing an effective double glazing repair.
