Our new toughening plant includes two bending chambers which work alongside the standard flat bed to supply glass bends for balustrades, partitions, shower screens, revolving door enclosures, full height barriers, shopfronts etc. Our anti-slip glass range, for use in glass floors, stair treads, bridges and walk-on roof lights is available from stock to maximum size 3210mm x 2250mm. All products are tested to UK and European standards. Glass partitioning creates a light and airy working environment. Glass can be specified to help to reduce noise pollution and afford privacy within the workspace. Glass room partitions are a cost effective way to divide/alter rooms requiring little to no structural changes therefore keeping the cost down to a minimum. Standard glass partitions are not normally fire rated however we have framed and minimal framed options available dependent on the required fire rating. Please contact our sales or technical departments for further assistance including partition and barrier loading, and glass specifications.

Firman Glass supplies toughened glass products for use in glass balustrade systems to some of the largest architectural metalwork companies in England. Our comprehensive glass processing facilities are continually being upgraded to ensure our glass is of the highest quality. Our sales and technical departments will offer advice regarding the correct use of toughened glass and where toughened and laminated glass should be used. Our glass for balustrade use is available in clear float, low iron glass, satin etched glass or body tinted glass.

Firman Glass canopies come in many standard sizes but can also be custom built to your specification for domestic, commercial and retail applications. Providing canopy cover for smoking areas, walkways or waiting areas in commercial premises such as schools or restaurants. All canopy glazing must be subject to professional calculation on the basis of accurate snow and wind loads, however Firman Glass can offer technical assistance at the estimating stage prior to approval by your Structural Engineers.
