Residential Interior Design
Pfeiffer Design creates tailored residential interiors that balance aesthetics and functionality. Our 20+ years of expertise covers period renovations, new builds, and luxury apartments. We manage every detail from spatial planning to bespoke furniture, ensuring homes reflect clients' lifestyles. Our process includes initial consultations, concept development, and full project execution, with a focus on sustainable materials and innovative lighting solutions to enhance living spaces.
Bespoke Furniture
We craft made-to-order furniture using premium materials like British beech and eco-friendly fabrics. Our team designs unique pieces from dining chairs to statement staircases, combining durability with aesthetic appeal. Each item undergoes rigorous quality checks, including fire safety compliance, and comes with a 15-year guarantee. Our in-house re-upholstery service also restores existing furniture to match new interior schemes.
Lighting Design
Our lighting specialists create layered schemes integrating ambient, task, and accent lighting. We specify energy-efficient LED systems and decorative fixtures tailored to each space's function. For commercial projects, we incorporate smart controls to optimise energy use. Every design considers natural light flow and architectural features, ensuring both practicality and atmospheric enhancement in residential and hospitality environments.
Home Furnishing
We offer turnkey furnishing solutions for move-in-ready spaces, including soft furnishings, window treatments, and accessory curation. Our designers select from premium suppliers like Designers Guild and Kravet, ensuring cohesive schemes. The service includes layout planning, fabric selection, and full installation, with options for remote coordination. Projects typically complete within 6-12 months, focusing on timeless elegance and practicality for modern living.
Sustainable Design
Pfeiffer Design integrates sustainability into every project through material selection, energy-efficient systems, and waste reduction. We specify air-source heat pumps, photovoltaic slates, and rainwater harvesting systems. Our studio features a sedum roof and reclaimed timber joinery. We advise clients on achieving BREEAM certifications and use low-VOC paints and FSC-certified woods to create healthy, environmentally responsible interiors without compromising on luxury.
