Based in Belgravia, London, Tollgard Design Group offers an award-winning architectural interior design service for an international clientele. We work creatively and collaboratively to create bold, contemporary interiors that are eminently liveable. Partners in design and life, Tollgard was founded by Inchbald-educated, husband-and-wife team Staffan and Monique. Hailing from Sweden and South Africa respectively, with previous careers in film and documentary making, their nuanced understanding of culture and a love of story-telling through design have been consistently recognised by the world's leading design publications.
With three London showrooms and a dedicated commercial contracts team, our aim is to add value at every stage of a design journey: for our clients, for architects, for interior designers and design aficionados around the world. Founded in 2005 by partners in life and design, Staffan and Monique Tollgrd, our practice has grown from a design studio into a multi-disciplinary practice that employs some of the brightest minds in our industry. From a strong foundation in interior design we have brought together a curated selection of brands from around the world.

We are also proud to exclusively introduce some future classics to the London stage, hand-picked from around the world by design-hunter and founder Staffan Tollgrd. Tollgard Belgravia is our flagship showroom in the Pimlico design district. Over three thousand square feet of light-filled space heralds a new kind of destination for design: personalised, calm and complete.

Product design allows us to tell the story of the piece instead of the story of the space. The direct, focused narrative of each piece of contemporary furniture design offers an answer to a question of living that our interior design work has uncovered. Staffan Tollgrd and Filippo Castellani head the product design division of Tollgard Design Group, working from our Belgravia studio. Recent work includes furniture commissions for internationally acclaimed brands Porada, JAB Anstoetz, Contardi and Vi-Spring.

For over a decade, through over 300 interior design projects, we have crystallised our design ethos into a signature principle. In each design project we search for the distinctive rda trden - a unique red thread - that binds people, place and building. Our clients are international, inspirational, and exacting. We create spaces that answer their unique questions of living and we are passionate about involving them in the design journey. The scale of the questions differs dramatically: from contemporary new builds in Jordan, Kuwait and Portugal, to projects in London where our interior design studio works on listed buildings that are hundreds of years old.
