We specialise in producing beautifully-made curtains, soft furnishings, our own range of upholstered furniture and professional reupholstery. We supply fabrics, wallpapers and trimmings from over 250 suppliers from around the world. Cover Up Designs have a unique range of exclusive fabric-covered and upholstered furniture designed and manufactured by themselves. This includes; curtains & blinds, dressing tables, headboards, soft furnishings, chairs and sofas.
Cover Up Designs manufacture to the very highest standards, our in house team produce a diverse range of soft furnishing products that include bedspreads, valances, cushions, bolsters and swags and tails. We understand the importance of providing an exquisite finish to your products, we have access to a great range of decorative trimmings that can really set them aside. Cover Up Designs are committed to providing the highest standard of workmanship, our teams of highly skilled seamstresses and upholsterers have years of experience in producing hand finished quality products.
Cover Up Designs offer a complete curtain design and making-up service, from selecting and supplying your fabrics to choosing exactly the right style of curtains for your windows. We offer a professional measuring and fitting service, so that your new curtains not only look beautiful but fit and hang perfectly. Our spacious premises includes a light and airy design studio, kept fully stocked with over 800 of the latest books and samples from a wide range of suppliers. Customers can enjoy being able to source fabrics, wallpapers, trimmings and all many other aspects of interior design, all under one roof, with expert help on hand if required.
In addition to the upholstered furniture, dressing tables and headboards that we produce, Cover Up Designs all design and produce other items of specialist furniture that are either upholstered or dressed in your chosen fabric design. These items include; square, round and half round occasional tables, table tops, dressing screens, mirrors and ottomans. All our furniture is made on site and our in-house pattern book library allows us to cover your screen in some of the finest fabrics and designs currently available.
Homes and Gardens Magazine once said that Cover Up Designs Fabric Book Library is possibly the best and largest in the United Kingdom. We encourage all our customers to come and along and browse throug our collection. For our Trade customers we have created a Design Studio membership which gives members access to over 800 fabric pattern books, ideal Interior Designers, curtain makers and upholsterers who wish to have access to over 200 accounts but do not perhaps have the space for all the books etc.
We have on-site, our own very experienced upholsterer, which enables us to offer a service second to none in the recovering and repairing our clients items of furniture. Our Design Studio affords us a wonderful range of fabrics and trimmings, enabling us to source the most suitable fabrics for your projects, from a large price range. We are also happy to work with clients own fabrics and trimmings.
Our exclusive and traditional dressing tables are designed and manufactured by us and we are very proud of their quality. The dressing tables are made to be covered with fabric, and we have our own upholsterer and makers to do the covers. The dressing tables have been sent as far away as the United States, Australia and Japan, so they are well travelled! Our dressing tables will add an extra dimension to the more traditional bedroom and are still very sought after. We also produce a modern range of tightly upholstered dressing tables which are much more 'cutting edge' in character, whilst being equally stylish and useful.
All the headboards are upholstered on site in our workshop and can be covered in your own fabric or alternatively one supplied by us. In addition we are frequently asked to make 'special' headboards, some of which include designs which appear on this page. These have appeared in many magazines such as House & Garden, The World of Interiors, Homes & Garden plus other magazines.

Cover Up Designs manufacture a small range of decorative furniture designed to both compliment and enhance existing features within your different rooms. The furniture is all handmade and made to measure. We offer a choice of designs or are happy to work with you or your designer to produce that special piece.
