Design Solutions and Interiors is based in Maidenhead, Berkshire and was established by interior designer Denise Long in 2000. Denise herself now heads up the current team of highly qualified, skilled tradespeople, most of whom have been with her for at least ten years. Denise qualified as an Interior Designer at The Regency Academy in London in the early 1990s and brings over 20 years experience to Design Solutions & Interiors. Denise has an enviable reputation and a proven track record with many happy client testimonials.

Bespoke kitchen design is our specialist area of expertise and we have commissioned many handmade kitchens on behalf of our clients over the years. Realise your dream kitchen by instructing our experienced team. We will design and project manage the entire job including; stripping out an existing kitchen, re-plastering, new electrics, flooring, complete fit-out including the sourcing and installation of appliances and lighting. You choose how much you would like us to do. Give your existing kitchen a facelift and an expensive new look by changing some or all of it from new kitchen units to specialist lighting or kitchen work surfaces such as formica, composite, Corian or granite to give you the wow factor.

Selecting the correctly proportioned furniture for your space can make all the difference and we are well used to finding unique and unusual pieces from all over the world. The buy-to-let property featured here was an extremely compact executive apartment in Chelsea and we sourced smaller furniture to maximise the living space. In fact after our design team left the site the property was let within two weeks when it had previously been vacant for several months. We are also able to breathe new life into your family heirlooms and much loved pieces with re-upholstery and specialist painting.

Finishing your room with the correctly proportioned furniture can make all the difference. We source unique and individual pieces from our contacts throughout the UK and also France and Italy. Your existing pieces which may have perfect dimensions for your space can also be re-upholstered so that they work within your new interior.

We are not tied to any one bathroom manufacturer so have installed a diverse range of bathrooms in both sytle and budget over the years. Bathroom space can often be tricky especially in older properties where the room may have had a previous function. We are proud of our track record when it comes to optmising your bathroom space.
