From being an art and design student for four years, to designing print graphics, dressing windows, working on store refit teams and designing showhomes, the work I did for large companies for 10 years enabled me to set up and work as a consultant and freelance designer in 2003. I still work as a freelance designer and am also now a Senior Lecturer in a University in Hampshire. My MA was in Interior Design (with Distinction) and I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Delivering a talk and exhibiting at a fashion symposium in Soho, London.
I have worked in spatial design and styling across interiors and retail branding projects throughout my 28-year career. After 15 successful years as a freelance interior designer, I now offer interior design consultancy, constructing the 'best case scenario' of a project structure and timeline for the client to work with and advising on suppliers, trades and materials purchase within the project. This can also involve working with other - personally selected - interior designers.
