Holt Security install and maintain security alarm systems, CCTV systems and door entry systems across Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent and London.

When you are looking at an alarm system for your property you have to consider two main options. The property alarm system is the more conventional system that you may be aware of where by you install movement sensors (known as PIR's) located around the property. Theses PIR's detect any movement within the room they are protecting and send a signal back to the alarm control unit to trigger the alarm. Whilst these systems are very good when professionally installed, in our mind they are not as good as the personal alarm configuration.

There are many systems on the market and it can be very confusing as to which combination of cameras and equipment you are likely to need. Here at Holt Security System we advise on one typical setup which combines a number of CCTV Camera's that wire back to a DVR digital recorder (EZHD Series). Having researched many products on the market we have found the EZHD series to be the best all round system in terms of picture quality, price, reliability, and most importantly, easy of use. The EZH4/LITE is intended to protect a standard domestic household / light commercial installation and will typically have 4 cameras, a sinlge DVR recording unit (as shown above) and uses a standard computer monitor.

Door entry systems come in various types of designs from simple speach to video, digital key access, to card/Tag entry. Each system can be stand alone or computer based depending on the complexity or your needs. The systems can be used to clock in and out and also be programmed to only allow access to certain areas. Access Control can be used to protect any type of door that doesn't necessarily need a person on the other end to release the door. A stand-a-lone system, as shown above, requires very little in terms of equipment.
