Mark has a degree in Hotel & Catering Management and a Masters in Business Management. He started his career managing Gidleigh Park Hotel in Devon, the first hotel outside London to gain a Michelin-star. He worked in the wine trade whilst studying for his MBA, and then moved on to become a corporate trainer, delivering courses to FTSE100 companies world-wide. In 2006 he decided to leave the traveling and corporate world behind and over the next 2-3 years learnt his skills in joinery and cabinet making, eventually starting his own business in Warwickshire, hand-making kitchens and other joinery projects.
