At Black Rok we specialise in contemporary German Kitchens. Based at our Uckfield showroom, we cover (most of) Kent, East Sussex and West Sussex. All our kitchens are made in Germany and delivered fully assembled, they range in price from 15,000 to 70,000 and beyond. Founded in 2011 by Jamie and Ed, it was (and still is!) our mutual love of "great kitchens" that brought us together to form Black Rok. It's not rocket science, it's just a refreshingly down-to-earth approach to high quality kitchens.
In contrast to expectation, the dark colour schemes currently on-trend are surprisingly subtle in the way they occupy a space. Our Black display is a good example of this, in part subtle and brooding, what really strikes you is how warm and welcoming it feels. The satin finish to cabinets coupled with a matt black handle sets a background for the warmth of the wooden fronted wall units. Using light and shade has long between a big part of interior design, dark colours can of course be dramatic but they can also shrink into the shadows to allow certain features to really stand out.
Black Rok clients receive the highest quality cabinetry and hinges, stylish and hard wearing door finishes and a wide range of clever storage systems, all at competitive prices. Having spent many years in the kitchen industry we were never in any doubt about the factory we would use to build our kitchens. World renowned for both their product design and manufacturing excellence, our factory in Germany is at the cutting edge in high quality cabinet construction. The German approach to kitchens is a little different to ours in the UK and as a result they build their furniture differently too.
We were looking for a traditional looking cottage style kitchen and had a few designed by some larger chain stores. But, were pretty underwhelmed by all the results. Then, we asked Black Rok to design us what they thought would work best for our space, and we are blown away by the results, a very sleek contemporary kitchen which is highly functional, very stylish and has oodles of storage space!
I have bought several high end kitchens over the years and I have to say I am wholly impressed by the quality and professionalism of The Black Roc team.
