Steve Warren-Brown, founder & current MD of the company, originally traded out of Steer Point, Brixton, as Yealm Gardening Services until, in 1997, he moved the company to their current premises in Plympton. Our management team has over 75 years experience in all aspects of landscaping and we have a further 45 years experience within our supervisors. Our services include all aspects of commercial landscaping, fencing, decking, grounds maintenance and tree care; with all teams delivering a service to our expected high standards.

We have over 15 years of experience supplying and installing decks, constructed from soft wood, hard wood and more recently, composite materials. Again, the choice of material is paramount to the success of the project and we can discuss the options which will suit your project and its budget.

With our Arboriculture team YGS Landscapes are able to meet all your tree and woodland requirements both for Commercial and residential clients. We have experience in all aspect of tree surgery from felling and pruning to stump removal or vegetation clearance. All of our staff are trained to an industry approved level and all of our machinery is regular serviced and inspected. Prior to use by the operative, and as part of ourHealth & Safety procedure, all machines are inspected. This allows all our tree works to be fully insured.

YGS Landscapes have been maintaining all types of grounds and gardens for both commercial and residential clients, some for over 20 years. We have the experience, resources and enthusiasm to offer grounds maintenance for your project, to your agreed specification and budget. Whether it be fortnightly grass cutting or an annual tidy up, YGS Landscapes will provide a fully resourced mobile team who will have all the machinery and materials to meet the maintenance requirements at each location. Where possible, the same team will service each site to enable them to build up ownership with the sites and relationships with the client.

There are numerous types of fencing, available in several different types of materials, styles and colours. We have over 15 years of experience supplying and erecting many types, from softwood treated timber fences to high security steel palisade, and from dwarf picket fencing to bespoke ironmongery. Although primarily used for screening and or privacy, a correctly chosen fence can enhance properties and we would be delighted to help you choose the most appropriate fence for your particular project.
