Services
Garden Design
Our garden design service transforms outdoor spaces through tailored concepts developed during client consultations. We produce scaled sketch plans that serve as discussion documents, focusing on integrating architectural elements with plant selections that reflect each property's character. This process ensures functional layouts that maximise usability while maintaining aesthetic harmony between built structures and natural elements.
Construction
All construction work is personally supervised by Richard Barrow, utilising traditional techniques combined with modern materials. Our team executes projects ranging from terracing and patios to complex features like swimming pools and summerhouses. We maintain strict quality control throughout the building phase to ensure structural integrity and precise implementation of design specifications while minimising disruption to property owners.
Consultation
The consultation phase involves detailed site analysis and client interviews to understand lifestyle requirements and aesthetic preferences. We assess existing landscape conditions, sunlight patterns, and structural constraints to develop initial concepts. This collaborative approach ensures design proposals address both practical needs and visual aspirations while remaining sensitive to the property's architectural style.
Planning
Our comprehensive planning service covers material sourcing, timeline scheduling, and budget forecasting to prevent costly alterations during construction. We coordinate with local authorities for necessary permissions and manage logistics to ensure efficient workflow. This strategic approach maintains project timelines while maintaining flexibility for client input throughout the implementation phase.
Decoration
The decoration stage focuses on finishing elements that enhance spatial cohesion, including lighting installations, furniture selection, and planting schemes. We specialise in creating year-round interest through carefully curated plant combinations that thrive in local conditions. This final touch ensures gardens remain visually engaging while maintaining practical usability for both formal entertaining and casual family use.
