We use traditional construction methods and only premium quality, pressure-treated FSC wood for our timber decks. We take pride in our craftsmanship, replacing saws and equipment regularly for the sharpest cuts and precision mitred joints. Even our screws are of the best quality and appropriate length (and we use plenty of them!). Each job is different but the high quality of our workmanship remains the same. We always use pressure-treated FSC timber from approved suppliers. Pressure treatment is a process that forces chemical preservatives into the wood.

Paul Cox Landscaping are recommended installers of the Trex composite decking system. A Trex composite deck is guaranteed for 25 years. It has a screwless fixing system, for a flawless surface, and is made from 95% recycled material. It will not fade or warp and has excellent slip-resistance. We are regularly contacted by clients who can't find a landscaper willing (and able) to install Yorkstone paving and porcelain paving. Both of these products are more difficult and time-consuming to lay than conventional riven sandstone. They both require a higher degree of skill and attention to detail, in cutting and laying to get a precise, level, beautiful result. For a beautiful new lawn you need to consider two things - the quality of the turf and the quality of the installation. We buy only buy premium turf that has been grown locally in the Vale of York. It's ordered and collected early on the morning that we lay it, for the maximum opportunity to thrive in your garden. In 20 years, we've never had to relay a lawn! The fresh turf is carefully laid over a correctly prepared bed of soil that has been rotavated, raked and levelled. This process can take at least a day and it ensure that your new lawn is level.

We have been constructing high quality timber fencing in York and Yorkshire for over 20 years. From a neat picket fence to a sturdy concrete post and panel fence, we will offer a solution for any location, taste and budget. The secret of a strong fence is a sturdy support and we ensure that your fence posts are rock-solid and plumb straight, using the best quality pressure-treated timber for a long-lasting, rot-resistant fence. Paul and his team repointed all my paths last year and this year he has landscaped my daughter Kelly's garden.
