Design only - With our design only package we provide our clients with a detailed plan for you to complete the work yourselves or to contract the work to another landscaping company. We find this popular with our clients wishing to complete their project over a period of time as and when finances allow. With this service you will be supplied a detailed plan and a list of materials and plants required to complete the work. This service costs from £495 plus VAT and is payable when an approved plan layout has been agreed.

Our experienced stone masons are highly skilled in the art of stone walling, field and boundary walling and garden retaining and terraced walling. They also build stone out buildings as well as stone cladding and re pointing and wall repair work. Also included in our range of stone work - rockeries, seating areas and gabion retaining crates, brick and block walling. Due to our ever changing weather conditions it has become advisable to install garden drainage and soak away systems where required in order to disperse and manage waterlogged and soggy ground. Many types are available and we at Gwynedd Landscapes have the expertise and experience in providing cost effective solutions. Land Drainage works by providing and open conduit for ground water to follow into a disposal point. This is more commonly know as a French Drain System. A series of trenches are dug along the waterlogged area and a series of 4 inch porous pipes are laid on a bed of pea gravel and then the trench is backfilled with more pea gravel.

The first thing to take into account when laying a turf lawn is that although turf can be laid at pretty much any time of the year, it is best to try and lay it in the spring or autumn months. This is the optimum time to allow the turf to bed in without it having to compete with harsh frosts and also heavy snow falls in winter months. Although there are a variety of turfs to choose from it is recommended by garden experts that you use meadow turf, as this is best to act as a hard wearing lawn.

Here we have installed a horizontal board type fence which has been erected on top of an existing stone wall. Picket style fencing was used here to create this custom style fencing.
