Since 2001 Bath Garden Design Ltd has established a reputation for making gardens that blend skillful creative landscaping with interesting and beautiful planting that complement both modern and historic settings. We offer a range of garden services from advice and consultation, garden design and planning, landscaping and maintenance through to planting schemes and planters. We welcome commissions and new clients from Bath and the surrounding counties of Wiltshire and Somerset and would love to hear how we could help you with your garden.

Whether you already have a good idea of the possibilities for your new garden or whether you are wishing to improve on what you already have, there is a comfortable, good value solution that means you can take time to consider what you need for your garden. The very popular 'no strings' Garden Consultation is a one-hour session for clients to be guided through options for their garden and to be given on-the-spot advice about their existing garden, including design or style, planting and construction as well as ideas and inspiration for future planting choices and styles, soft- and hard-landscaping possibilities and practicalities such as storage or parking and access.

We offer a range of flexible garden maintenance and garden services in Bath and the surrounding areas where we do much more than weeding and mowing (although of course we will happily do that). We can keep your garden in tip top condition throughout the year with planting, pruning, tidying and cleaning, keeping your pots and containers looking beautiful and any jobs such as fixing trellis or fencing or putting up sheds. This unique package is tailor made just for your garden, and includes garden maintenance visits planned throughout the year with added regular consultations to ensure that the garden is doing it's best and any development work is going smoothly.

With more than eighteen years of landscaping experience in the Somerset and Wiltshire area, Bath Garden Design offers a huge range of services and is happy to tackle all shapes and sizes of projects. Our construction phases are completed by individuals who pride themselves on their problem-solving, focused work ethics and attention to detail. They are seriously 'no nonsense' and a friendly bunch with it. If you are comfortable with the Standalone Consultation then you may wish to continue on to the design drawings and build quote phase.

We offer a complete garden service covering advice and consultation, design and planning as well as landscaping, planting and garden maintenance. We have been established since 2000 and our unique one-stop service means we can take care of all your gardening needs. Our proven track record means that we have customers who come back to us again and who we have worked with for many years. We specialise in period gardens, particularly Grade I and II listed however we are happy to undertake any aspect of your garden work either large or small.

We offer a very popular bespoke window box, planter or container service perfect for courtyard gardens or where space is at a premium. We can help you to select from a range of beautiful traditional and contemporary styles and plant them to suit the aspect of the location. Our special combination of planting medium contains not only high-quality compost but also slow release fertiliser, water retaining granules and we always ensure good drainage to keep the plants healthy. We can also fit a discreet watering system with a timer to ensure that the plants are kept sufficiently watered - even if you are away on holiday.

We can can offer you a bespoke garden design service covering as much or as little detail as you need. We are consistently 'looking outward' to be inspired by the best that there is in garden design, both historical and contemporary. Influences are broad, drawing from formal and informal designs and detail from gardens of all shapes and sizes. As well as maintaining a continuously updated mental library of colours, textures, forms and embellishments, we are intent on 'distilling' ideas for each client in response to their unique requirements.
