We have been suppling the gardening, landscaping & building sectors with horticultural products for over 45 years. Our friendly and professional staff take pride in offering great service and great value to our many delighted customers throughout the East Midlands and beyond.

Based in the village of Findern in South Derbyshire, we've worked with many individuals, companies & organisations to provide high quality horticultural products and services. We work directly with businesses, schools, local authorities and consumers alike to be the perfect partner for your horticultural needs. We are Master-Stockists of the Melcourt range of Bark Mulches and Playbark and we always carry stocks of Screened Topsoil, Compost, Aggregates and Treated Timber. Our customers enjoy and appreciate our large range of Trees and Shrubs, as well as our seasonal stocks of bare-rooted and root-balled hedging plants, Italian-grown specimens shrubs, bare-rooted and pot grown trees and landscaping plants.

We also stock Fence Posts in various sizes, Fence Rails and a range of Tree Stakes for all planting applications.

Tree planting figures in the UK remain critically low. 10 years ago 18,000ha of new woodland were planted per annum. This year only 13,000ha were planted. The nation has just 10% of woodland cover, compared to 44% for Europe as a whole. For many years Woodgrow have specialised in the planting of a wide range of trees; from small whips to 6m specimens. Installations have included ornamental and amenity planting, screening and new woodlands. From November to March we're able to supply and plant both bare-rooted and root-balled trees.

We are able to carry out a variety of services on your behalf, including treatment and control of weeds (including Japanese Knotweed and Giant Hogweed) and other horticultural services such as tree planting and tree surgery. Our landscape and contracting services division can also provide a variety of services, including landscape construction and minor civil engineering works.

We use the latest herbicides and equipment, including hydraulic sprayers, ultra-low volume applicators and stem injectors. We do our utmost to limit our impact on the wider environment by using low-toxicity, and non-persistent herbicides where possible. Woodgrow are proud to introduce the Nomix range of low-volume herbicide applicators and oil emulsion herbicides. Nomix Total Droplet Control (TDC) combines state-of-the-art applicators, with specially formulated low volume herbicides, to provide a safer, more efficient weed control solution.
