Ben was fantastic. He called me back 20 minutes after me leaving a voicemail and was with me after another 30 minutes or so. He explained the problem, talked me through the options and had my locks fixed quickly, efficiently and at a great price.

I had an issue with my door where the lock mechanism was catching and making it difficult to lock. The locksmith came out promptly and quickly identified the problem. Had issues with my main house door lock. Found 1st Defence Locksmiths online. Liked they were local and not through a call centre. Attended same day and fitted brand new lock. Door also adjusted as well so it closed better and locked easier. Very happy

Highly recommended! We called Ben for emergency assistance when we our door seized - he arrived within 30 minutes and very quickly reviewed the issue, taking the time to explain the works he was carrying out. Ben arranged for one of his colleagues to come to our house promtly as we had a stuck door. Did a good job, sorted the door lock and frame and we can now finally get out of the house as normal.

Excellent service provided. Ben arrived on time and had been very helpful and patient in doing the job. We wanted to have the front and back door locks replaced. He straightened and righted the latch on each door, and managed to provide an outdoor lock for our back garden gate, which was an impromptu request. He went above and beyond in explaining how the locks and keys worked, how to register them online and cleans up after the job has been completed. I would recommend this company for any locksmith job.

Ben arrived spot on time, had a look at my lock and spoke me through what went wrong and what he was changing and how he was going to do it! He matched the locked to my door handle which was sliver so it all looked better together, he chizzled away to make sure the new lock was fitted perfect, he checked it several time inside and out to ensure the lock was working sufficiently, He was amazing from start to finish, 100% recommend him to anyone
