The MORTICE LOCKS must have a minimum of 5 levers and at least 1000 key combinations, a Saw resistant bolt with a minimum 14mm throw and able to withstand 300lbs side and 5000lbs end pressure. The Association of British Insurers (ABI) guidelines require all final exit doors to be fitted with 5-lever mortice locks (or equivalent) conforming to BS 3621 and marked with the BS Kitemark. Rack bolts or security bolts generally fitted to rear back doors. Please note we carry 90% of locks on board and any locks not carried can be generally ordered and fitted within 24hrs, subject to us not having the correct lock on board we can provide temporary security measures to your property to insure your safety.
