The Cambridge Decorator

We are a husband and wife team who trained in Fine Art and have been decorating for a number of years. Our strong client focus led us to start our own business, through which we are proud to be building a good reputation, with many of our customers returning to us time and again. We do a wide variety of exterior and interior painting and decorating jobs. From hand painted kitchens, wallpapering and whole house projects to smaller jobs like giving a little room a fresh lick of paint. We often work for busy families with children and hectic lives.

Above: To add colour to the neutral palette of the tiles and walls we chose Bone China Blue Deep to paint the vanity unit and bath panel. We colour matched the walls painted with Stock to the tiles. We installed the bath panel and skirting boards, both colours from Little Greene. Above and left: A busy couple with a hectic lifestyle asked us to help them make space for them in their home. We designed, made and installed some floating shelves for their bathroom and installed an Elfa shelving system in their living room.

We love painting and decorating in Cambridge, especially when it comes to beautiful town houses like this. The walls are painted in Farrow and Ball Pavilion Gray and Lamp Room Gray. The wood work has been painted with Wimborne White. Above: The client asked us to brighten up their hallway and create a contemporary family space. We chose Little Greene Slaked Lime for the woodwork and ceilings and Slaked Lime Deep for the walls. We kept the handrail in the original wood to provide a contrast to the soft tones of the paintwork.
