Hardman and Oakley Fencing provide fencing installations and repairs and are based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We cover most of the surrounding towns and villages including Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe and Martlesham. We can supply and install all types of standard sized garden gates and can offer a completely bespoke service where we will design and build a gate to your exacting specifications. Our most basic gate will be built with pressure treated timber and will be strong and durable. If your budget allows we can build a more substantial framed and braced gate with mortice joints for superior strength.

We are a family run business which formed in 2010 and we have been growing steadily since thanks to the skill and dedication of our small team and through word of mouth recommendations from our customers. A standard off the shelf garden gate tends to be 90cm in width and of varying heights. Whilst this will fit some garden paths and entrances it will not be an ideal fit for most. For this reason we offer a custom made gate service where we will come and measure up and then build the gate in our workshop ready for installation. All the material we use to construct our timber gates is pressure treated timber. For added strength we can build a fully framed, ledged and braced gate as opposed to a simple ledged and braced gate.
