It began in 1987 as a plant hire company, and in 2010, sensing an opportunity, changed direction to a specialist provider of Hot Tar and Chippings surface dressing, utilising custom built equipment to provide surfacing solutions in predominantly domestic applications. In 2017, the owners decided to retire and sell the company and assets to its current owners through a management buyout. Since then, we have sought to build on our reputation through our honesty and quality of work. Star Plant Ltd's aim is to provide surfacing solutions to a wide variety of requirements and in many different applications, not only tar and chip, but also Tarmac, Concrete.
