Transformed Driveways believe your driveway is not just a place to park your vehicles and that this hard standing represents the 'welcome mat' to your home and is, without doubt, the first impression that people have of your valued property. Whilst conventional driveways processes, like block paving, imprinted concrete, asphalt and concrete, can look fine when they are first installed, these man-made options very quickly lose their initial aesthetics and can require extensive on-going maintenance in respect of staining, frost damage, re-coating and the dreaded weeding.

With decades of experience in the specialist surfacing industry, the Transformed Driveways team have previously been involved with the successful installations of numerous surface treatment projects for prestigious national clients including the Department For Transport, British Airports Authority and The Defence Estates. With the importance of quality products and exceptional customer service already ingrained into the team's culture, Transformed Driveways was formed to make the benefits of this proven technology available to the domestic market.

For new-build properties looking to install a resin bonded stone surface, or existing homes where there is currently no hard-standing on which to permanently adhere the natural stone, Transformed Driveways can install the necessary concrete or asphalt surface to facilitate the transformation. Using British Standards approved materials, and working to recognised Local Authority specifications, Transformed Driveways can undertake these surfacing works in-house, as part of the overall scheme, or work with the customer's own surfacing contractor in order to ensure that the completed substrate is suitable for the resin bonded stone application.

In addition to considering a resin bonded gravel transformation, some customers are looking to further improve their property with the installation of additional hard landscaping in the form of walling, edgings, paving and features. As part of the overall scheme, Transformed Driveways are perfectly happy to undertake these works in order to avoid the problems and challenges of employing multiple contractors. Whereas Transformed Driveways are committed to quality and timely working, experience has unfortunately illustrated that many other domestic contractors have very different ethics.

Whilst a completed resin bonded stone driveway will deliver beauty, functionality and performance for decades to come, it is not exempt from the everyday occurrence of dirt and grime from our atmosphere or leaf mould and detritus from the surrounding area. Gardens deprived of sunlight can even attract moss and lichen which, whilst only sitting on top of the impermeable stone surface, can be unsightly or in some cases slippery. Even oil and fuel stains from parked vehicles, whilst again not affecting the proprietary surface, can look unsightly and mar the overall aesthetics of the property and landscaping.
