What an excellent hardworking chap. He did what he said he would do and went out of his way to do that little bit more. Punctual, polite, with a sense of humour yet respectful and courteous. We have more rooms to do i.e. removing of artex and returning them to a flat surface after skimming. We've since had a separate decorator in, to quote for painting of the recently prepared ceilings, and he noted the high quality finish without us prompting him for an opinion. We have other rooms to skim, when the budget has been replenished, but we won't be seeking a quote from anywhere else other than 1st Choice. an aptly named company! Many thanks Ian.
Work in progress, it's not often that a picture is taken showing the effort or lack of it on my part but today, as I was having a busman's holiday, the chance came along. Two more walls still to plaster but it's coming along nicely!

Nice ickle one to start the week off. Various angles required the use of both thin coat stop and edge beads. Bit of faffing but the results look spot on. It's all in the detail
