Over half the warmth lost from most homes is lost through the walls and roof. Insulation can substantially reduce this heat loss enabling you to keep warm for less money. When your home is insulated your boiler, or other heating source, will not have to work so hard to provide you with the warmth you need, and it will not take so long for your home to warm up after the heating is switched on. You can adjust your timer to switch the heating on later than before - saving energy every day.

Un-insulated solid walls can lose heat twice as fast as un-insulated cavity walls but insulating them externally could save you up to 435 each year and save 1770 kg/CO2/year* (*source: Energy Savings Trust). External wall insulation involves fixing a layer of insulation material to the outer wall of a property (which is not of cavity construction) then covering the insulation material with render or cladding. There are many finishes available including smooth, painted, textured, tiled, panelled, pebble-dashed or brick slips.

Heat pumps are a renewable energy technology that converts energy in air into heat. This process delivers green, low-cost, energy-saving heating and hot water all year round. Put simply a heat pump takes the available heat from the air surrounding a property and increases it to a more useful temperature for use in the home. This renewable source of heat can be used to create warm air or water (for space and central heating) as well as hot water (for both central heating and domestic hot water supply).

We provide a range of heating improvements; from a wireless thermostat you can control from your smartphone, to new A-rated boilers to full new central heating systems. You could qualify for a free boiler* if you live in a private property and have an inefficient boiler. Funding is available through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) which will help many people with the cost of their boiler replacement or their heating system, although in some cases a contribution* towards the installation costs may be required, we will always let you know before any work goes ahead.

Loft insulation should last for up to forty years once installed and will save you money on your heating bills for years to come. As lofts are sometimes not the nicest places to enter it makes sense to get your insulation installed by a professional. Let our experienced surveyor carry out a full loft survey to see what we can do for you and start saving as soon as the work is carried out. While we insulate your loft our experienced installers will also insulate any cold water tanks and pipes that are in there, as well as install a walkway to them in case your plumber or heating engineer needs to get to them.

Our team of experts have many decades of experience between them. Our insulation and heating installers all have the appropriate training and professional qualifications. Our business is based on a continual recommendation - our customers recommending us to friends, neighbours and relatives. As a company, we are committed to providing an excellent service and delivering products and services that precisely match our customers' requirements. The process of continuous improvement is firmly embedded within the Company and we achieve this through regular staff training and skills development to ensure our staff are always up-to-date with the latest developments.

If your house was built after the 1920s, it is likely to have cavity walls. A cavity wall is made up of two walls with a gap in between, known as the cavity; the outer leaf is usually made of brick and the inner layer of brick or concrete block. Pre-1920 older houses are more likely to have solid walls. A solid wall has no cavity; each wall is a single solid wall, usually made of brick or stone. But don't worry, our surveyor will be able to advise you whether your home is suitable for cavity wall insulation when he calls at your home.
