Absolutely terrible.
We had sold our house and the people that bought it as part of the deal wanted to have the Rayburn replaced with a wood burner.
I did warn them not to use Hutchesons as my last experience was not good but they went ahead and bought a stove from them, as a good will gesture I offered to pay for it's removal and even permitted Huchesons into my property to checkout the work.
My scope of work was to remove the Rayburn take it outside and put it on my trailer, the quote was £656.40 which I said was excessive, I was told after, having difficulty getting to speak to anyone, that was the price and I would also receive the black pipe that was to be removed (never did receive this and they did not answer email)
I was going to get my removal team to be present when it was being removed to hump it out. The installation plan was taking ages to come off as usual, but I received a frantic call from the people who purchased our house that Hutchesons would NOT remove the Rayburn and install the new stove unless I paid UP FRONT for the removal! Due to the suddeness of the decision by Hutchesons to do the installation. I did not have ample time to moblise my own sourced removal team (who were going to remove it for £200). I felt obliged now as the purchasers of our property said they would miss the slot for the installation of their stove. So we got ripped off £456.40 that we felt we had to pay...never got the black pipe as promised and one of the panels was dented on the Rayburn and of course Hutchesons never replied to my email. I will never use nor do I recommend Hutchesons. No stars.

We recently got a wood burning stove put in. I am over the moon with it. The service we received was 100% amazing. When We ordered fire they said fitting would be end of December beginning of January 2022. The came out on Tuesday 22nd December 2021 and installed our new fire in a day what an amazing Xmas present for us.
The men that installed the fire where lovely couldn't fault them in any way. They came early morning and left about 6pm they left NO mess
Over all I am very very happy with the service, help and advice we received.

Fire delivery and installation was held up for 7 months due to Covid regs. Once restrictions were eased installation was arranged and delivery and installation was flawless. Installer was great arrived at agreed time, talked through everything before he started. Kept all working areas clean at all times and cleaned up further when finished. Very pleased.
