We are a family run self storage and removal business situated 1 mile from Newtownards at the top of the Ards Peninsula, within easy access of Bangor, Comber, East Belfast and the whole of North Down, County Down and Northern Ireland.
From one item to full house contents, our aim is to make house moving or indeed business moving experiences safe and hassle free. We cover Newtownards, Bangor, North Down, Comber, Ards Peninsula, East Belfast and all of Northern Ireland. We will gladly move customers' belongings carefully either into our storage facility or simply from one location to another. We also provide a full packaging service where we will pack customers' items for removal into appropriately designed boxes. If customers wish to do their own packing we provide a full range of packaging materials for sale including boxes, bubble wrap, packaging paper, furniture covers, mattress covers and packaging tape at very competitive prices.

Ards Self Storage and Removals carried out a house removal for me in December into one of their storage units and then moved my contents again in April when my new house had completed. They were prompt, efficient and extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. Mark was able to help me decide on the right sized storage unit and they packed my unit to my requirement ( as I would need to remove furniture for recovering at a later date ) and to cap it all off, they were extremely competitive on the removal and storage.

Unlike most businesses, Mark phoned me back immediately, when we failed to connect initially. He is a pleasure to deal with, polite and informative. All belongings were carefully handled and well secured in transit. Facility is spotlessly clean and well organised.

Just a quick (and belated) thanks to Mark and his son. 2 days before we were due to move our removals company closed without notice. We were left with the prospect of being homeless within 48 hours!! I rang Mark and explained the situation - he and his son were amazing - within 90 mins they were at our front door and moved us quickly and professionally, without fuss and very pleasant to deal with - real lifesavers for us at the time - would highly recommend - thanks again folks.

We were recommended Ards Self Storage by a friend who had used their services. From our first meeting with Mark, he was friendly and helpful, taking us around the units to show us the sizes available and where our furniture would be stored. We were pleased that on removing our items he rang to say that a smaller unit would suffice which would save us several ££ over the 4 months. We would have no hesitation in recommending this business to anyone.

My mum and dad got there furniture back on Monday after the company effectively held it hostage over the 12th fortnight. They only told them they couldn't have access to their furniture once it was packed up. My parents have been staying with friends and family since then, when they could have been in the house a week earlier. I too am disgusted with the company because now they want to charge my parents for the 2 extra weeks and say that the amount they quoted was only for removing the furniture. Now they also want more for delivering it. The furniture is all scraped and there are breakages. no respect shown. Mark was extremely rude to my dad on the phone when demanding the extra money. My dad is elderly and ill. He has paid up the extra unwillingly as he was harassed with phonecalls until he was going to bed. They are dodgy and inconsiderate. Do not use this company.
