Truthfully worth all the stars in the sky, fantastic service, hiccups causing variations of moving date, which was handled in an expert style, the movers who was doing the packing were careful respected our tiny valuables, so polite. The moving day was done with swiftness along with enough care for our items again the whole crew were very polite and open-minded. Choosing 1 van 1 man firm for our first move in thirty five years, did not regret it at all and would recommend them to all our friends and family.

Outstanding moving service from a highly rated removal company in York. The speed & cooperation they used to empty our 3-bed flat was amazing to see how and well experience this team was at moving. 50 boxes, 2 beds, four desks, a wardrobe and a lot of kitchen appliances. They had to take time out and that was partly to avoid some of our items from getting wet, as it was pouring down. Job well done with no issues…

We moved on the 28th February 2020 with Dave & Shivanand from 1van1man.
We have never used a removal company before and as a result were a little unsure of everything as well as a touch apprehensive. After looking through reviews we decided on a York based company and 1van1man had a massive range of provision all with great feedback. We decided on the 2 men and 2 vans with only a one off extra charge of £90 for the second van.
From the very first email we have been very impressed. They were knowledgeable, really friendly and explained everything clearly.
On the moving day the men arrived promptly and again were happy to go over the best way to handle the day. They looked around the property at everything to be loaded and explained their plan. They were happy in their work and chatted happily to each other and us throughout the day.
They moved ever piece from our old house with lots of care and expertly loaded everything in good time.
The weather was horrendous. However, they didn’t complain, just happily worked away.
When arriving to our new home (a new build, with new everything) they made sure they covered EVERYTHING. Then continued with the same care and attention to making sure everything was placed without any damage to walls, floors etc.
Again they worked at a good pace and by 3pm they had moved everything without a hitch.
I could not recommend 1van1man enough!!!

Couldn't find fault with their service. Polite, helpful, punctual and friendly. Knew exactly what to do with difficult furniture. Dismantled wardrobes and reassembled them perfectly with even a small repair on the way. Would highly recommend. Excellent value for money.

Really approachable, Took the extra time to come out before move day to assess the situation and make sure the team would know exactly what to do on the actual day. Moving day, the team arrived packed the vans up without any delays as we were on a tight budget. Great moving service from a great Yorkshire moving company. Cheers lads!!

They arrived on time. They were experts, and they were polite. Dale, Mike and David worked their butts off to get me moved in under the estimated time. They were also very resourceful in getting my sofa through the window as it could not get out the way it came in due to renovations, I had done previous. 1 Van 1 Man Removals are the best in York to choose from.

I can’t recommend 1 Van 1 Man highly enough. The two guys that came to put my furniture in store and then do the house clearance a couple of weeks later, were punctual, polite, helpful, very efficient and hard working. When the time comes to take my furniture out of the store I will without hesitation use them again.

We booked 1van1man for a a Sunday morning removal and Dale was brilliant. He arrived promptly , was very helpful and the whole job was made easier thanks to his expertise. I would have no hesitation in recommending 1van1man . There were no hidden extras from the quote , which was extremely reasonable. Dale's a great guy who deserves great credit.

When we moved into our first home we had the task of looking for a removal service at short notice due to work commitments. Fortunately 1 van 1 Man removals came to the rescue. Easy to book, professional on phone and in person. Dale and his colleague made moving stressfree and a work of art, loading his van like some sort of tetris champion. Ive just had a very good morning with Dale and Mike. As soon as i met them i knew straight away they were & are very Proffesional & Good at what they do. They're so helpful and all the weight & stress i had on my shoulders went away. They're also good fun and made my day as we all had a good laugh, i highly recommended & will recommend them to all i know. Im so happy with there efficient & Proffesional service they provide.

At first I was a bit unsure about booking a removal company online and listing the inventory myself but have to say the whole process was slick and easy. The team arrived on time, very polite, smart and really helpful. Furniture was loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently. I have to be honest reviewing these guys, they are really good at what they do and that's cleaning and junk removal..I first found out about the company from social media where everyone raves about their professionalism and friendliness. Give them a call you won't regret it, I didn't.
