Emperor Scaffolding were engaged as a sub contactor by a roofing company carrying out some roofing repairs at our property and were a problem from start to finish. They turned up unannounced 2 weeks before the work was carried out and erected the scaffolding, we were not home so they proceeded to access the rear of of property totally ignoring a locked 7 foot gate. During the work being carried out they proceeded to damage recently laid Indian stone paving and did not report it. Fortunately the roofing contractor compensated us for this. We then had to wait almost 2 weeks after work was was complete for them to return to remove the scaffolding after several cancellations. When I mentioned this to one of the workers their reply was " think yourself lucky it was only that long". They proceeded to dismantle the scaffold during which several items were just thrown to the floor. At this point my wife, after the initial damage that was caused, challenged them about throwing things to the floor. It appears that they subsequently rang their office to have a "moan " about this as my wife received a terse telephone call from the roofing contractor shortly afterwards in which she had to defend her actions. Thankfully they understood her concerns,
If this is typical of the company I would avoid them like the plague.

We recently had a flat GRP roof that was badly installed by a another roofer. Emperor Roofing replaced the roof and I have to say that the job was quite demanding for the lads carrying out the work but we are pleased with our new roof.

They have just stripped my roof then new lates on top of the new membrane and put the cement mixed fibre slates with the dry ridge tiling system. Cracking job and cleaned up as they went . The price was outstanding as well so why go anywhere else . Cheers lads top job
