Security Dog Handling Services

Established in 1992, Security Dog Handling Services has built a reputation as a leader in professional security solutions through the strategic deployment of trained guard dogs and handlers. Our expertise stems from decades of hands-on experience in the security sector, with founder Malcolm Webb leveraging his background as a static security supervisor to create a company dedicated to excellence. We specialise in providing tailored security measures for both public and private clients, combining advanced canine capabilities with rigorous compliance to industry standards such as BIPDT, NASDU, and BS8517. Our team holds SIA licensing and operates under strict adherence to the Guard Dogs Act 1975, ensuring legal and ethical practices. With nationwide coverage, we serve diverse sectors including industrial sites, high-profile events, and residential areas, offering solutions that deter crime through proactive measures rather than reactive responses.

Our unique approach involves dogs living with their handlers to strengthen bonds and enhance performance, distinguishing us from competitors who use kennel-based systems. Over 30 years, we have demonstrated measurable success in reducing criminal activity for clients ranging from schools to corporate facilities, supported by public liability insurance and a commitment to continuous training. By prioritising client-specific assessments, we deliver cost-effective security strategies that leverage the superior sensory abilities of dogs to prevent incidents before they occur. Our proven track record includes long-term assignments like protecting private residential communities for eight years with minimal incidents, showcasing our ability to transform security outcomes. As an SIA-approved contractor, we maintain transparency in operations while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accountability.
