When you leave waste in a skip or container for us, you want to be confident that as little of it goes to landfill as possible. Currently we recycle 80-85% of the waste we collect. We aim to increase this percentage year-on-year. After safely picking up your skip, we'll transport it to our nearest Waste Transfer Station, where your waste will be sorted and recycled. For garden waste, that typically means: old wood (such as from an old shed) gets converted into biofuel and sawdust; old bricks, concrete and stone gets crushed and transformed into new building materials; soil and dirt is screened into road base.
