Total Home Environment can plan, select and install heat recovery ventilation, heating and central vacuum systems to achieve the healthiest outcome for our clients and their homes - we are passionate about clean, fresh air. Total Home Environment researches and chooses products carefully so our clients can be sure that they give outstanding performance. Additionally we will only specify those that fit best with our client's plans and budget. Undertaking a selfbuild or major renovation can be a daunting and complex task.
A healthy home contains fresh, filtered air, with no condensation, no stale air in the kitchen or bathrooms and no re-circulated dust, thanks to its ventilation and central vacuum systems. Total Home Environment is the home to Electrolux Central Vacuums in the UK. Previously distributing the Beam brand of Central Vacuums, we continue to serve all our existing customers with parts and service. Total Home Environment is also the home to, Zehnder, Vent-Axia and Genvex heat recovery ventilation systems, one of the most respected and established ventilation manufacturers in Europe.
As you seal up and insulate your home more, so the indoor air quality (IAQ) in your home deteriorates. Poorly sealed windows, doors and other gaps are a thing of the past, as we try to save heat and energy. Our homes therefore, can no longer breathe and the 'cling-film' effect occurs creating bad indoor air quality. The resulting rise in humidity increases not only mould growth, but also the dustmite population, a worry for Asthma and allergy sufferers. High humidity also increases the perceived temperature on hotter days adversely affecting those in weaker health.
