Most people don't give car air conditioning a second thought, until they realise it isn't working. This usually happens in summertime when the weather is warmer. You turn on the A/C and nothing happens. Sure, you might be getting air blowing through the vents, but it's either warm or doesn't feel cold. Car air conditioning should feel ice cold within 1 to 2 minutes of turning the A/C on. If it doesn't, then you need the help of a professional, highly trained and experienced auto air conditioning specialist.

If you suspect a leak or other fault in your air conditioning system, we will attempt to diagnose the cause and provide you with a competitive quote to affect repairs. If you own an older car (pre 1993) that is fitted with air conditioning, it would normally require to be recharged with R12 refrigerant.

AC fixed on my old E-Class before a lenghty trip to Rome via the Swiss Alps. Worked a treat. 31 and muggy in Rome but as cold as Siberia in the car. Thanks. Well recommended.

I was today. Professional service. I am very satisfied. I recommend.

I had my AC charged at one of the local tyre centers, which made little difference and they said must be something else wrong. I took it to AC wizard who managed to fit me in at short notice. Fault checked the system. Found the garage hadn't put nearly enough refrigerant in the system. Once it was recharged properly its never worked so well! Will never use tyre garages again for this service!

What's new?

Heads up! This is a quieter time of year for the wizard! So, if you need any air conditioning work done, we are still open for mobile appointments Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Same day appointments may be available (depending on location).

Normally at this time of year, the wizard would simply be wishing everyone a merry Christmas. But this year is different! Yes, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and the happiest of new year's! But more than that, I wish the best of health for you, your family and your friends. Let's all hope for.

This awesome 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo needed minor modifications to the air conditioning system to convert it from R12 to R134a gas. When R12 was banned and replaced with R134a in the mid 1990s, it would've been necessary to change most of the system (compressor, seals, hoses and a full oil change).
