P2 architects, formed in 1998 have become exponents of exemplary architecture and interiors, driven by the two founding directors and staff. The practice actively subscribes to the belief that good design should be openly available to all; from the modest residential remodel to the complete new corporate development. We are a chartered architects practice with vast experience delivering exceptional quality designs and implementations throughout the UK not only for private residential clients but also for developers, commerce and industry.

The ethos of the architects practice is to provide good innovative design, not specifically limited to the building fabric, but encompassing all aspects of the internal and external environment. A good technical understanding of the construction process and a thorough understanding of the client's brief, requirements and budget underpin this. The company has a strong core of design and construction based experience spanning from the residential sector, through retail to corporate work. Since its formation in 1998 our projects have ranged in value from £30,000 to £26m and in personality from conservative institutions to new progressive companies, through bespoke retail to exceptional residential commissions.

P2 design founded the practice partially on their wide retail client base. The architects practice built a reputation for working closely with clients and their staff to develop concepts, specifications and delivery teams with which to roll out successful chain units across the uk and mainland europe. P2 as architects, interior designers and project managers have been fortunate to work with some great clients who have allowed us the latitude to develop some of their street persona and have delivered some 49 chain units across europe for one particular client, brought new brand presences to central London for others, and assisted several established bespoke designers to bring their wares to the high street in an environment fitting to their products.

P2 architects commercial projects cover a wide scope of clients and businesses. Within the city of london we have carried out projects up to £26m in contract value and from 500 sq feet of boutique office space to 275,000 sq ft of category A prime office space. Not confined to the city, the practice has completed several niche office projects in knightsbridge, mayfair, chelsea and belgravia as well as working nationally recently carrying out projects spanning from Guildford to Edinburgh. As a workspace consultancy we have also been involved in the design, development and implementation in company spatial remodelling and relocations where we have designed, advised, managed and specified the full office arrangements and moves of business groups and whole companies throughout the UK.

P2 architects have set out our basic guidance for clients so that our working methods can be understood from the outset. These procedures, together with our experience, ensures that the process of designing, constructing and completing a project is as rewarding as possible for our clients. We meet with prospective clients to discuss requirements and a general brief without charge after which a fee proposal is provided for perusal. Once appointed we clarify the brief in more detail, listening to the clients' requirements and expectations.

P2 architects have always maintained a high quality residential arm to the practice, providing a tailored service to our clients whether they wish to achieve a modest alteration, a complete remodelling or an expansive development opportunity. As domestic architects we encompass a holistic view of residential design and offer an inclusive design process with the client from commencement through the design phase. We guide them through the planning process and draw up and submit planning drawings as well as statutory Building Regulations drawings and submissions.
