Since 1984, we have created exceptional environments in the airport, retail, commercial and leisure sectors. We have worked on hundreds of major international projects, aiming to integrate architecture, interior design and graphic design using the latest technology alongside traditional skills. The Design Solution is led by three highly experienced directors, Robbie Gill, Graeme Johns and Nick Taylor. They are directly engaged on every airport project, from inception to completion, each contributing their specialist skills to create the optimal solution.
Circular decorative black metal halos with a repeating motif inspire by the Agave plant feature throughout the central Food & Beverage area. The decorative metal grilles of the halos incorporate lighting to wash light onto the timber ribbed backgrounds creating a natural warmth to the departures.
The creation of a new exterior courtyard as part of the redevelopment of the departures lounge generated the desirable opportunity to bring the outdoor feel inside to the gate seating areas that front onto the new courtyard. Heavily planted areas including trees have been integrated into minimal.
