We are a visionary architectural design studio based on Mirfield's high street, in the heart of Yorkshire. Our lead designer, Jake Hinchliffe, built our practice's reputation based on building clients relations, engaging with their briefs and turning their thoughts into a well crafted building or space. At Orange, we have successfully delivered a number of commercial projects where sites have been technically challenging or other professionals advised it would not be possible. We used Orange Design Studio from the initial concept design through to the completion of our renovated derelict Victorian gatehouse.
The interior is just as important to us as the kerb appeal of a project. These internal spaces help create an environment that works with how you live, work or enjoy a space. We believe in using high-quality finishes, materials and decor styles combined with clever details to create spaces that our clients love, and want to use over and over again. We work with a number of local, reputable designers who can supply some of the latest finishes and furnishings the industry has to offer. In many cases in our projects, Orange can design, commission and supply bespoke items of furniture and fittings in residential and commercial projects.
Jake took the time to get to know myself and my husband and then came up with a brilliant design. Jake not only designed our project, but also helped with finding materials, builders, etc which made the whole job so much easier. He is a calming influence when things don't go to plan. We love our home and that's down to Jake if you are wanting something modern with a bit of a twist we would highly recommend him. Make sure you have plenty of tea bags and flap jack in when he visits!
We used Orange Design from initial concept design to completion of a project to renovate and add a contemporary extension to a derelict Victorian gatehouse. Their designs were cutting edge but at the same time they understood the practical aspects and budgets for the project. They were personable and enthusiastic and supported us throughout the project. As a result the project was an outstanding success and the finished property is something that we can all be proud of. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.
From the way Orange Design first worked with us, understanding our needs, revising the drawings, making practical suggestions, obtaining all the necessary planning and building control permissions - through to the way they managed the tendering process on our behalf, approaching builders and then making frequent site visits during the build phase, it was all reassuring to know that we had a professional we could rely on and call on as the various needs arose.
