Located on a bend of the River Thames opposite the Millennium Dome, New Providence Wharf is a mixed-use development providing residential, hotel, and leisure uses. In line with an increasing demand for facilities to serve Canary Wharf workers, the project will enliven and regenerate the area. Abdel Koussa was one of thelead Architects on this projecton behalf of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Whilst at AFL Abdel worked with AMBS Consultancy, an Iraqi based Architectural Practice, to propose a Masterplan for the proposed Baghdad Olympic Park Venue.

Working on Behalf of 3D Reid, Manchester, Koussa Architects provided Architectural Design Services to deliver the Tender Documentation and Construction Phase Services for the redevelopment and refurbishment of this established retail park for client British Land. Work required the sub-division of an existing retail unit to be developed into stores for Primark, Arcadis and M&S Food. The entire front elevation of the retail units were redesigned to allow for new structural glazing, newly refurbished pedestrian circulation areas and external canopy.
