Blamphin + Associates have been active in the construction industry since 1964. Starting out as a Quantity Surveying practice, expanding into Building Surveying and Project Management in the 1980's. Paul Blamphin, having worked for leading architectural practices of Scott Tallon Walker in Dublin and Sidell Gibson in London and Berlin, joined the practice in 1995 and created the Architectural Department, which is now the dominant discipline in the firm. Harry Blamphin ARICS retains an active role in the firm as a consultant, providing quantity & building surveying guidance.
Commercial - B+A are associated with many prestigious buildings in Belfast, involving new-build, remodelling, updating and restoration. Examples are River House, Mark Royal House, Sinclair House and Metropole House. New build offices include 42 Dublin Road, whilst interior design work included a four storey fitout for Mills Selig Solicitors. Retail - Working for both national and independent retailers providing solutions to suit budget and programme. Often works are managed on a phased basis to enable trading to continue throughout the works period.
